Gibraltar was just awarded the prestigious Seal of Excellence Award for  outstanding customer service for the third straight year by the industries’ leading independent trade organization, the American Counsel of Independent Laboratories (ACIL). Since first entering the competition in 2010, Gibraltar has been recognized by its customers as an outstanding laboratory to do business with. Our great reputation means you can trust us for you outsourcing needs. Gibraltar’s services range from laboratory testing, steam sterilization, custom sterile prepared media, education and employee training.

 

ACIL member companies must agree to a strict set of core values and principles rooted in ethics, objectivity and independence for the good of the people and industries served by the greater community. For example, ethic number seven states that all  member companies “…deal honestly and fairly in all business and financial matters with employees, clients and the public.”

To become an Seal of Excellence participant, testing laboratories must score highly on customer satisfaction surveys ,maintain proof of an annual ethics training program and an early detection system for questionable analytical practices, and submit a signed code of ethics. Participants in 2012 demonstrated an average timeliness of 3.6 out of a possible 4.0 and an overall customer satisfaction score of 3.8 out of a possible 4.0. From this elite group of outstanding laboratories, Gibraltar was also a recipient of two Special Recognition Awards for Timeliness and overall Customer  Satisfaction.
